Disaster Response in Puerto Rico

This week, Hurricane Fiona has caused flooding and power outages in U.S. territory Puerto Rico. Flooding has reached historic levels with even more rain to come. Water service has been cut off for two-thirds of the island’s residents, over 2.1 million people.

Water Mission is responding by sending an assessment team to evaluate the safe water, sanitation, and hygiene needs of people who are impacted by this disaster.
