As some of you may know the Coastal Financial Planning Group has been an actives sponsor and participant in the Water Missions’ Walk for Water since 2015. Rick, Burke and Violet just attended a luncheon where we learned the startling facts about the lack of safe drinking water around the world and the immense hardships so many people are face. Here are 3 facts that are inconceivable to us but for these people it is unfortunately part of their life challenges:
Globally, one person dies every 37 seconds from a water-related illness.
Yearly, children miss 443 million school days because of the global water crisis.
Collectively, women in Africa spend 200 million hours every day walking for water.
We invite you, any friends, and your family members to join the Coastal Financial Planning Group for the 2022 Walk for Water! Our goal is to raise $3,500 and presently we are at $2,500! Only $1,000 more to go!!
