We are Walking for Water, so others don't have to. Every day millions of people around the world have to walk miles and miles just for water. Most of the time, the water they can find is contaminated and makes them sick. We are excited to join Water Mission's Walk for Water because Water Mission is changing lives, one community at a time, through their sustainable safe water solutions.

Each dollar raised will help bring access to safe water and sanitation solutions to the 2.2 billion people who still suffer under the global water crisis. 

Water Mission is concerned with serving the physical needs of others, but also has many opportunities to address spiritual needs and this has an eternal impact. This is an excerpt from their website:

Our work is based on the belief that God is concerned about the physical and spiritual well-being of all people, and He desires a personal relationship with each of us. In the Old Testament, through the prophet Isaiah, God calls each of us to experience a life that satisfies our deepest longings. He puts it in the metaphorical language of thirsting. “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters…Give ear and come to me, hear me that your soul may live.” (Isaiah 55:1,3)

We believe that God fully revealed Himself to the world in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus spoke as God when He said, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” (John 7:37) Jesus pointed to Himself and promised to quench our spiritual thirst with “living water,” if we would put our trust in Him.
