The world needs clean water. Be a part of the global solution!
Many of us take clean water for granted every day. We turn on the faucet and instantly we have clean water for cooking, cleaning or drinking. Many people aren't aware, or even consider what goes into the process to bring clean water to homes and business. Unfortunately, in locations across the globe there is limited or NO clean water resources. A lack of access to, or the availability of simple clean water can lead to the spread of disease, severe dehydration and sickness and poor living quality. Imagine if your first thought everyday was how to get water, or you had to make a long journey just to get a pail of water that wasn't even safe to drink.
Natural disasters in the United States and other developed nations that leave people without food, water or shelter, usually have the support from government disaster relief programs and humanitarian efforts to overcome these challenges and meet basic human needs. In lesser developed parts of the world there are no support systems to rely upon.
2019 marks the beginning year for one of the United Nations sustainability goals; addressing the World water Crisis from now until 2028, the water action decade. I am proud to work for a company whose values include people, quality of life and stability. Driven by the responsible use of environmental resources, Burt Process Equipment is aligned with Water Mission’s goal to provide access to clean and safe drinking water to those in need around the world. As part of that initiative, Burt Process is hosting its first Walk-For-Water fundraising event.
Please join my team or make a donation to help us reach the goal of $10,000. The Walk for Water event will be a day of fun for family and friends. I hope to see you there and thank you for your support.
