The Prell Family is Walking for Water
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Every participant will take a bucket and begin to walk a 3.5-mile route. Half-way through the route, walkers fill their bucket with dirty water and carry it to empty the water into an LWTS (Living Water Treatment System). The LWTS will use a Grundfos SQ-Flex to filter the water and make it drinkable. The walk is symbolic of the walk that women and children from developing nations make every single day to collect unsafe water.
WHY ARE WE DOING IT?
The Prell family is joining with the Blood family and many others to raise money for Water Mission. Water Mission is a Christian engineering nonprofit that designs, builds, and implements safe Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. Since 2001, Water Mission has used innovative technology and engineering expertise to provide access to safe water for over four million people in 55 countries.
