Imagine going through a crisis like COVID-19, a natural disaster or famine with no access to clean water.

Be part of the solution! Grundfos invites you to join in the Grundfos Virtual Walk for Water. For everyone’s health and safety, this year’s walk is held virtually. Wherever you are, in your neighborhood, house, park or on the trail, your steps will bring clean water to those who need it most. Participants are encouraged to follow their government's health and safety guidelines.

In partnership with Water Mission, Grundfos helps to ensure access to safe water and improved quality of life for people around the world. To date, more than 1.5 million people have received safe water from the partnership.

Why do we walk?

Every day, millions of women and children in developing countries walk an average of 3.7 miles (6km) to retrieve water for their family's daily needs. In most cases, even after walking for miles and miles, the water they drink is often contaminated.

We walk to simulate the trek and stand in solidarity with those who must take it every day. We walk to bring awareness for the global water crisis and 2.2 billion people around the world who do not have access to safe water. As a result, more people will understand the challenges they face.
