Every day, GF is designing and building products for a sustainable future across the world. We accept responsibility to be a part of the solution to the global water crisis. 

The GFPS Walk for Water is one important initiative that funds clean water and dignified sanitation in both developing countries and in areas impacted by natural disasters. This critical support prevents fatal illnesses and enables a shift of focus to education, infrastructure and other key areas necessary for a sustainable society and quality of life. 

According to the World Health Organization, 2.1 billion people do not have access to clean and accessible drinking water, especially in developing countries. They often are dependent on dirty water from rivers and ponds, which are difficult and often dangerous to reach. Women and children walk hours every day to carry dirty water from the nearest source. They have no other choice. 

Direct access to clean water is one of the core concerns of GF Piping Systems. With the GFPS - Walk for Water, our employees are reaching out to make a difference across the world. The proceeds from the associated fundraising campaign support entirely the Water Mission projects in Indonesia and Malawi.
