In our fourth year, the Hudson Valley Walk for Water is excited to continue our walk to impact people around the world forever, by providing solutions that save lives.
This year, we are raising funds to provide water purification systems for communities along the Amazon River in Peru.
We walk so others don't have to.

Why do we walk?
Everyday, millions of women and children in developing countries walk an average of 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to retrieve water for their family's daily needs. In most cases, even after walking for miles and miles, the water they have to drink is contaminated.
We walk to simulate the trek and stand in solidarity with those who must take it. We walk to bring awareness of the situation. As a result, more people will understand the challenges they face.
