Why do we walk?
Despite its enormity, the global water crisis rarely makes the headlines. It is today's silent killer. This crisis steals the lives of thousands of people each day—more than COVID-19, epidemics, natural disasters, and hunger combined.
Roughly 2.2 billion people wake up every day to a life without safe drinking water. Children and people of all ages are weakened and dying due to water borne diseases. The lack of safe water and adequate sanitation worldwide is a very real and present crisis.
The difference with this crisis is, we know how to solve it.
The people of Burt Process Equipment are uniting to help find a solution to the world water crisis. We walk together on behalf of those people who do not have access to clean and safe drinking water. Our goal is to partner with exceptional organizations that share our passion to positively impact world populations in need of potable water.
Along with our corporate partners, Grundfos and Georg Fischer, we donate funds and share our engineering expertise and innovative technology to help Water Mission provide sustainable water treatment systems for disaster relief efforts and remote areas of the world where clean drinking water is non-existent.
