Alyssa Phelps

Meet Alyssa! She joined Grundfos in April 2017 and currently holds the position of Service Program Leader. She once modelled in Blain's Farm & Fleet fashion show with her younger sister, Kaila and she would love to karaoke "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel. This is her third year on the Walk for Water committee and this year's Walk Leader. She looks forward to collaborating with new members and making this the most successful walk yet! 

Katie Silva

Welcome Katie! She joined Grundfos in April 2018 as the Associate Buyer at Grundfos YCC (Aurora, IL). She & her husband, Javier, own two Corgi furbabies, named Baymax and Clark. This is her first year on the Walk for Water committee and she is very excited to hold the position of Walk Sponsorship co-chair with Melissa Phelps. 

Melissa Phelps

Say hello to Melissa Phelps. She joined Grundfos in January 2008 and has held many different roles. She currently is the Materials Manager. When she's not playing softball, she plays the saxophone, which she has practiced for over 32 years. Melissa has been on the Walk for Water committee every year, since it first started in 2011 and this year she is holding the position of Walk Sponsorship co-chair with Katie Silva.

Joshua Velez

Please welcome Joshua Velez. He joined Grundfos in September 2018 as a warehouse union employee. He currently holds the office position of Material Coordinator. He left behind the sunny weather of Florida and moved to Illinois so he could enjoy snow on Sunday and 75 degrees on Tuesday. Joshua has previously volunteered at Walk for Water and is excited to continue to grow with Water Mission and hold the committee position of Walk Logistics co-chairman with Robert Zarko. 

Robert Zarko

Please welcome Rob Zarko, who joined Grundfos in May 2018 and currently holds the position of Continuous Improvement Manager. He is a father of three awesome kiddos: Caleb, Eleena and Ady. This is his first year on the Walk for Water committee as Walk Logistics co-chairmen with Joshua Velez, but is eager to find ways to make the Walk even better this year! 

Kristen Gray

Meet Kristen Gray! She joined Grundfos in July 2016 as the Associate HR Recruiter for the entire US. Kristen got married this past summer and is the new proud aunt of her nephew, Dawson. This is her first year on the Walk for Water committee and she can't wait to make it fun and successful as the Walk FUNdraiser/Community Outreach co-chair with Jesus Gutierrez. 

Jesus Gutierrez

Welcome Jesus Gutierrez! He joined the union at Grundfos in December 2017. He currently holds the position of Assembler (Dosing). Jesus enjoys art & has 10+ tattoos that he designed! This is his first year on the Walk for Water committee and he is excited to hold the position of FUNdraiser/Community Outreach co-chair with Kristen. 

Linda Zimmerman

Welcome Linda! She works as the Executive Assistant to the President/GM of Grundfos GCB. She is a fabulous grandma of two grandsons, Jaxon and Jacob. Linda has volunteered at Walk for Water many times and is even planning Grundfos' "Golf with a Mission" events in Lenexa, KS and Houston, TX.
