What time does the Walk begin?
Opening ceremonies begin promptly at 9:00 AM

How much does registration cost?
Individual Walkers: $10

Can I register the morning of the Walk?
Yes!

How long does the Walk for Water take?
Walkers have a choice of completing a 1.5 mile or 3 mile route, which takes about 20 minutes or an hour to complete, respectively.

What is this event like?
After opening ceremonies, every participant will take a bucket (provided at the event) and begin to walk the route. Halfway through the route, walkers will fill their bucket with dirty water and carry it back to the park (either 1.5 miles or 3 miles total). The Walk is symbolic of the walk that women and children make every single day to collect unsafe water.

Do I have to fill my bucket to the top?
No, you can fill the bucket to your desired level. If you do not feel you can complete the Walk with a bucket, you are welcome to walk without one.

Is this event suitable for children?
Yes, this is an event for all ages. It is engaging, informative, and impactful.
