What day is the Walk for Water? 
Saturday, October 12th, 2019

What time does the Walk begin? 
Registration opens at 8:00 am, Walk starts at 9:00 am

When does online registration close?
Friday, October 11th, 2019.

How much does registration cost? 

Seniors (65+): $20

Adults (18-64): $25

Children (Ages 5-17): $15

Child 4 and under: Free 

Can I register the morning of the Walk? 
Yes, but it must be done online. Money exchange is not allowed at the park. 

Where should I park?
Parking Lot in front of Pavilion 1 & 2. More details to come closer to the walk!

How long does the Walk for Water take? 
The Walk is roughly around 3 miles, which takes about an hour to complete.

What is this event like? 
After opening ceremonies, every participant will take a bucket (provided at the event) and begin to walk a three mile route. Walkers will fill their bucket with dirty water and carry it back to the park. The walk is symbolic of the walk that women and children make every single day to collect unsafe water. 

Do I have to fill my bucket to the top? 
You can fill the bucket to your desired level. If you do not feel you can complete the walk with a bucket, you are welcome to walk without one. 

Is this event suitable for children? 
Yes, this is an event for all ages. It is engaging, informative, and impactful. 

Can I join a team after I've already registered?
Yes. Please email jbuhler@watermission.org to be added to a team.

Can I volunteer at the Walk for Water?

Can I bring my dog? 
Yes. We welcome all friendly and lovable dogs.
