When and where will the Walk for Water-CSRA take place?
The Walk will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021. For those who would like to join us in person, we will gather at state-of-the-art SRP Park in North Augusta, SC. The Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Suppose you prefer to walk with fewer people. In that case, we encourage you to register and walk with us virtually from your neighborhood, community park, or any location of your choosing. By registering in advance of the Walk, you’ll have plenty of time to pick up your Walk t-shirt and participant materials. You’ll also be able to download additional social media resources online.

I've registered for the Walk. How do I pick up my Walk t-shirt and participant materials?
We will host t-shirt pick-up times at the Augusta GreenJackets Hive Pro Shop at SRP Park from September 10 until October 1. Shirts can be picked up at the Park Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

How do I share about the Walk?
We encourage you to post photos of the Walk to your social media accounts. We've created easy-to-use participant materials just for you. When you post, please tag Water Mission and use #CSRAW4W. Don’t forget to invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in participating!

How can I support Water Mission more through the Walk for Water?
The Walk is an opportunity to help raise awareness and support for Water Mission’s ongoing efforts to fight the global water crisis. However, raising funds is not a requirement to participate in the walk. Should you want to do so, we do have resources available for your use. You can find them here!

VIRTUAL WALK
 2021 Dotted Line

Why is there a virtual Walk option for the event?
The safety of our participants is our top priority. Due to COVID-19 we have created an alternate Walk option. This will give you the flexibility to participate in the Walk for Water by walking whenever and wherever you choose.

What is the virtual Walk option?
This Walk option allows you to participate in the Walk for Water-CSRA at the location and time of your choosing. Walkers from many locations will join together virtually to raise awareness and funds to combat the global water crisis. We encourage you to walk a three-mile route in your neighborhood, in a park, on a beach, or wherever you choose. You can generate awareness for the global water crisis by taking photos throughout your Walk—wearing your Walk t-shirt—and posting on social media using the hashtag #CSRAW4W. We also encourage you to look at our Virtual Walk Instructions.

Will I walk on my own the same day as the Walk taking place at SRP Park?
Yes, both options for participating in the 2021 Walk for Water will occur on Saturday, October 2.

Do I need to register for the virtual Walk for Water?
Yes, we encourage anyone joining the Walk for Water-whether at SRP Park or virtually-to register and share about the global water crisis. Walker fees and donations for the Walk for Water enable Water Mission to provide access to clean, safe water in communities around the world. All registered participants will receive a Walk for Water t-shirt and Walk participant materials.

Can I walk on a day other than October 2?
Yes! You are welcome to take part in the virtual Walk for Water on a day that suits your schedule.
