Where is the walk being held?
The Georg Fischer Walk for Water event will take place November 20, 2021. Location of the walk is 9271 Jeronimo Road, Irvine CA 92618.
What are the hours of the event?
Check in will commence at 8:00 AM and the Walk will begin at 9:00 AM. Event will conclude at 1:00 PM.
Is parking available?
Free general parking will be available in the lot across the Georg Fischer building. Handicap parking is available at the first lot of the Georg Fischer building. Signs and Volunteers will be available to direct traffic.
Will there be food available?
Every person registered will receive complimentary lunch at the event. Lunch will consist of hamburgers and hot dogs with vegetarian options.
How much does it cost to participate?
Adults (Ages 18+): $20
Youth (13-17): $10
Children (5-12): $5
What is the deadline to register?
Registration can be done at any time before the event. We will also accept registrations the day of the event. However, in order to guarantee a shirt, registrations must be submitted online no later than October 22, 2021.
Is event pet friendly?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate pets.
How long is the walk?
The walk is 2.7 miles long. Halfway we will fill buckets with water to represent the walk millions around the world take on a daily basis.
What are the COVID-19 Precautions?
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and visitors with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks to protect themselves against COVID-19, regardless of their vaccination status.
By attending the event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Yes! Water Mission is a 501(c)(3) organization. EIN #57-1116978. However, please note that Water Mission is organized in the United States. Donations by an entity or individual who is not a US citizen may not be tax-deductible in the US or in your home country.
