Yes. When you register as a walker, you'll have the option to start a team, join a team or register as an individual.

Can I join a team after I've already registered?
Yes! Please email the name of the walker and the team to walk@watermission.org to be added to a team.

I've registered. How do I get my Walk t-shirt?
If you joined a team, your team captain will pick up t-shirts for everyone in your group before the walk and get them to you. If you registered as an individual, we’ll let you know where you can pick up your t-shirt before the event.

I’m unable to walk 3 miles. Is there still a way for me to participate at the Walk?
We’ll have a limited number of golf carts to help participants unable to cover the Walk distance on foot. After you register, email Janie Ephland at jephland1@att.net to get on the golf cart transportation list.

How do I share about the Walk?
We’ve created easy-to-use participant materials just for you. These include social media images and resources. During and after the Walk, we encourage you to post photos of the Walk to your social media accounts.
When you post, tag Water Mission and Beaufort Co. Walk for Water using @water_mission, @BeaufortWalkforWater, and #bftwalkforwater. And please invite your friends, family and colleagues to join you in participating!

Do I have to raise money to participate in the Walk?
The Walk is an opportunity to help raise support for Water Mission’s ongoing efforts to fight the global water crisis, but fundraising isn’t a requirement to participate.
