When and where is the Walk for Water - CSRA?
We will gather at state-of-the-art SRP Park (187 Railroad Ave, North Augusta, SC 29841) in North Augusta, SC, on Saturday November 12. Gates will open at 8:00, and the Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m. By registering in advance of the Walk, you’ll have plenty of time to pick up your Walk t-shirt and participant materials. You'll also be able to download additional social media resources online.
When and how can I register for the Walk?
You can register online now. Click here to return to the registration page.
You also can register at the event, but your preferred t-shirt size may not be available. Register by October 31st to be sure you get the size you want.
Adults (Ages 18 and up): $25
Youth (Ages 7-17): $10
Children (Ages 6 and under): FREE
Should I register my child?
Yes, please do. Add child registrations by selecting the option with your adult registration. All registered participants will receive a Walk for Water t-shirt. The smallest t-shirt size available is a youth medium.
Note: Children may only be added to your registration when you initially register. If you need to add an additional child at a later time, please email walk@watermission.org for assistance.
Do I need to join a team to participate in the Walk for Water?
No. You can register for the Walk as an individual.
Can I create a team for the Walk?
Yes! When you register as a walker, you will have the option to start a team, join a team or register as an individual.
Can I join a team after I've already registered?
Yes! Please email the walker’s name and the team to walk@watermission.org to be added to a team.
I’ve registered; how do I pick up my Walk t-shirt and participant materials?
We will host t-shirt pick-up times at the Augusta GreenJackets Hive Pro Shop at SRP Park from November 1st-11th. Shirts can be picked up at the Park Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
How do I share about the Walk?
We encourage you to post photos of the Walk to your social media accounts. We’ve created easy-to-use participant materials just for you. When you post, please tag Water Mission and use #CSRAW4W. Don’t forget to invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in participating!
Do I have to raise money to participate in the Walk?
The Walk is an opportunity to help raise support for Water Mission’s ongoing efforts to fight the global water crisis, but fundraising isn’t a requirement to participate. If you choose to help in this way, we thank you! Resources are available here to help you share Water Mission's story and raise funds.

What is your refund policy?
All contributions are considered donations. We are unable to provide refunds.
Walk Day
When I arrive, where should I park?
When you arrive at SRP Park, individuals will direct you to the stadium parking deck and the hotel parking deck. Both parking garages are located on Railroad Avenue.
What should I do when I arrive at the Walk-in SRP Park on November 12th?
Please proceed to the Main Gate Entrance. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. The whole family will have pre-walk festivities and additional event activities, including a Kids Zone.
Where should I go if I want to register on the day of the Walk?
Same-day registration will occur on the main concourse just inside the Main Gate Entrance beginning at 8 a.m.
What can I expect on Walk day?
During the Walk, individuals will carry an empty bucket for about 1.7 miles before filling it with water and walking approximately 1.8 miles back to SRP Park!
We encourage everyone to wear their Walk for Water t-shirt as we join together to fight the global water crisis. Wear comfortable shoes for the three-mile walk and dress appropriately for the weather.
What is the walking route for the event?
Start and finish at SRP Park, North Augusta, SC. The route of the Walk will cross the 13th Street Bridge. Then via Riverwalk, participants will proceed to 6th Street, then to St. Paul’s Church.
From St. Paul’s, they will continue to Reynolds Street before returning to the 13th Street Bridge, with the finish being at SRP Park.
What will be along the Walk route?
Along the route, there will be stations to rest and get water, if needed. There will also be signs with more information about Water Mission, the global water crisis and more.
At the turn-around point, there will be a water source where you fill up your bucket and finish the rest of the Walk.
What if I arrive after the event begins?
If you arrive after the Walk begins, please check-in on the main concourse, and a volunteer will give you the materials needed to start the Walk.
